Step Back From The Railing MAG
Liz Doyle's article “Step Back From the Railing” is extremely moving, and I feel the same way she does about the value of an individual life. In the article, Liz witnesses a man almost take his own life, but her quick thinking saves him. She later says, “That day, I came face-to-face with evidence of the preciousness of human life, as well as the importance of looking after your neighbor, whether white or black, man or woman, rational or delusional.” I agree; everyone is similar regardless of their differences, and we should all look after one another.
Thank you, Liz, for showing me the importance of caring.
