Standing Up
Caitlyn Hannon's "Standing Up" is a story of trumph and true voice. I have the upmost respect for her because she acted in a way that I don't think I would have. If someone violated my space I would have kicked, punched, and screamed my way out of trouble, but she didn't. She walked away, and I wanted to tell her to not feel defeated, beaten, or torn for making the RIGHT decision. She walked away with that kick, punch, and scream. She was strong enough to walk away from a situation that could have become worse. "Standing Up" by Caitlyn Hannon is an article of true voice and an inspiration to those who weren't strong enough to simply walk away.
