“A Homeless Soldier” by “Alice” is an emotional article enlightening people about the problems soldiers face when returning home from war. It describes how they risk their lives and often get nothing in return. In reality, the land of the free doesn't live up to its name.

I believe that the author's perspective should be considered. Our troops go through hell, and they should not come back jobless and homeless. I can relate to her curiosity to discover more about the soldier. Her use of metaphors and comparisons bring extra meaning to her viewpoint. Hopefully, this problem will eventually be solved and our troops will receive the recognition and help they deserve.
