“How to Upgrade Your Nickname” by Junhyuk Hur is a wonderful comedic piece. It certainly put a smile on my face. The ­reader is taken on a journey full of hilarity, laughing at the narrator and his misfortunes. This piece was a great choice for the first page, setting the tone for the entire magazine.

While it does seem crude to laugh at others, sometimes it is good to relax and let it all out. Fantastically written, with great pacing and suspense, Junhyuk’s positive, refreshing story delivers great enjoyment to readers. Many people can relate, too, which makes the narrator really come to life, as if we are witnessing his actions. Well-written and uplifting, this was by far the best nonfiction piece I have read in a long time.
