The Best Fireworks
“The Best Fireworks” by Varsha K. is a very inspiration piece that I share a simliar connection with the writer. Varsha is at the Fourth of July fireworks in New York wondering how people can be celebrating when people across the world are dying, starving and don’t have clean water. When Varsha thinks this she remembers when she helped kids in an orphange in India when she visited there last summer.
Before she helped the kids in the orphange she incountered children begging and looking like they haven’t eaten in a very long time. After that her family figured out ways to help children there. My family and I researched orphanges in Cambodia before we took a family vacation there. We bought school supplies like markers, colored pencils, and paper. When we gave it to them they we’re so grateful. It felt really good to know that someone was thankful for something that I did.
