Fears and Promises
Fears and Promises, in the October Issue, “Miranda W” is in the hospital and has been there for a very long time. She is going to have surgery later that week. She will end up dying unless the surgery works and everything goes smoothly. Miranda looks back on all of her mistakes and all the things she will never get to accomplish because she is only a teen. She doesn’t want to die with fears and regrets without forgiveness, acceptance, and scared of dying young.
I find pleasure in reading this magnificent article. It is a very sad story. She makes you feel for her even though you don’t know her. How she describes in such detail what she is feeling and having to deal with is just horrible. When I was younger I was told I could potentially die from a bug I had gotten and I know exactly what she is talking about. I hope she writes some more because her article was absolutely stunning!
