Bathroom Secrets
In Kaitlin McCabe's nonfiction article, I think she captures an eerily realistic view on the teenage society today. Using descriptive details on how the bathroom sees all, knows all and understands all, it lets the reader know there is at least one safe haven in which they can escape to, to get a firm grasp on reality and fully understand their actions. The bathroom, as Kaitlin describes it, is a friend that can relieve the pressure of society that has been placed onto the writer. Personally,I think this article is one of the best in this issue of Teen Ink because it captures the raw feeling of emotion that the average teen has to deal with today.
