I found Amy's article "It's Not Funny" extremely moving. When reading the story, I realized how careless our society can be. People say and do actions that can have a horrible effect on others. In a normal day I hear people throw around serious word, but do not take time to think of the impact it has. I agree that people need to take a stand and contemplate about what they are about to say. Amy's story needs to be read and taken into deep consideration. After reading this story, I will always think before I say something that can have a detrimental effect on someone.
