The story "The Blessing and the Curse," by Christina was very deep but also a understanding of a heartbreak that often happens in high school. I just went through the same situation except i was on the other side, i was the heart breaker! Many teenage kids can relate to this story, but many just know how to push the pain aside and know that life goes on. Christina Leonard went through heart ache, but she can't blame either side for what happened, you learn from experiences so i would tell her to take it for what it is worth.
