C major
I came across “C major” in the pages of Teen Ink The poem is based around a young woman who is being serenaded by her close friend who is playing her father’s old piano.
This suddenly grabbed my attention because of the title and its relation to music which is one of the many interests. I could relate to this wonderful poem because like the women speaking I am very fond of music and especially when someone plays for me, to be honest I’m usually the one performing.
I enjoyed this piece so much because of how it is centered around her love for music and I could truly relate to that feeling.
