Response to "Cheyenne"
The author of “Cheyenne” directly addressed the common subject of bullying in her writing. “Cheyenne” left me with admiration for the author and how she stood up to bullies at her school. Unfortunately, Bullying happens to too many teenagers and children at school. Bully’s are often overlooked or not punished for their actions because the child is too scared to come forward or has no friends like HOPEfully shows in her writing. Sometimes, all children who are being bullied need is someone to listen because they have no one at home that will listen. If just one person would stand up for people being bullied like HOPEfully did, bullies would stop.
