Feedback on the Movie Review on"Warm Bodies"
Feedback on the Movie Review of “Warm Bodies”
The movie review that Catherina Agron gave on the paranormal romantic zombie comedy film “Warm Bodies” was a well-written piece that clearly represented the overall idea of the movie. In the review, Catherina talked of the zombie R, who may be dead but is full of emotion. R, unlike most of the other zombies, is intelligent and humorous. His love interest is Julie, who he protects and cares for. Together, they fight against “zombies, boneys, their forbidden love, and the disease that is infecting everyone around them.”
Catherina claims that the film dismisses the overall stereotype on zombies, that they are mindless, brutal killing machines. I definitely agree with what she had to say. Honestly, when I first heard of the movie, I thought it would be another one of those “clichéd zombie movies”, but clearly I was wrong. The film shows that zombies are not what they are perceived as. According to Catherina, zombies actually have inner feelings. They are compassionate and caring. There is more to them than meets the eye.
I’d say that Catherina Agron did well on this review. She clearly stated her view in a casual and persuasive tone. The way she briefly described the film was excellent. Her description gave enough information in a small amount of space. Through her review I am able to make a mental image of the film and get the idea of what it is about.
