My Bakery
I found Angelina Balestion's article "My Bakery" extremely moving because she talks about never giving up on a dream she has had since she was a child. I can relate to Angelina's dream job because like her, I would like to open my own bakery. In the article, Balestino talks about when she first started to pursue her dream and when she first started to get business. She explains how her grandma inspired her to try new recipes because her grandma was always trying new things and she learned to never "give up when one recipe fails." Balestino also shares her experience with customers wanting to buy her cakes when she was just eleven and sometimes she felt as if starting her own bakery would be too challenging;however, she continued to make cakes and take classes. This inspired me to keep trying at my dream of opening my own bakery and to take the extra step despite the hardships. Thank you Angelina Balestino for sharing your experience and inspiring me to keep pushing forward and never give up.
