Leaving My Comfort Zone
I can relate to Jessice Zou's article about stepping out of her comfort zone when she was younger. I connected to the same fear of embrassment she had during school. Similar to her story I once joined at my middle school theature program with my friend. We eventually stopped talking to each other;however I remained in theatre, because like Jessica "[l]ove. I loved theature". I made new friends and was even cast in the lead role of one of our plays. It gave me confidence and passion for the arts I needed later on in real life.
As soon as I became a freshman I signed up for dance classes. These things gave me more oppurtunities to explore more hobbies and make new friends.
This article is one of those examples that show you never go through things alone. This excellent article will surely speak to more people than just myself. I also hope people can see this and also step out of their comfort zones.
