Is Marching Band a Sport?
The writing titled “Is Marching Band a Sport?” written by Avery was full of lies. The writing about band being a sport left me feeling angry. I disagree with this article. Band should not be considered a sport. I do not understand why the writer of this article thinks it should be considered a sport. I am surprised that people think band should be considered a sport. This article is not written well. The arguments are some of the weakest I have ever heard. I am left confused about why they think band is so hard. The article says, “We work just as hard as other athletes.” I do not agree with that statement at all; band kids would not last a week of football practice. The article says, ”a typical day for marching band runs from seven a.m. to midnight.“ That is the biggest lie ever. They need to check their facts on that one.
