Broken Reflection
Seeing that reflection in the mirror I break the glass.
I walk through my life with not the greatest of ease.
People point not understanding.
People laugh not understanding.
People talk not understanding.
They point watching this oddity of movement.
They laugh at the agony of my step.
They talk of names to call, broken, twisted, and infected.
At home I look in the mirror praying to see my reflection.
Instead I see them staring back.
They point at this oddity of movement.
They laugh at the agony of my step.
They talk of names to call, broken, twisted, and infected.
Seeing that reflection in the mirror I smash the glass.
