Lately I've been wondering, does anyone have manners anymore? Like seriously how hard is it to be polite? If you want something say please. If someone does something nice for you say thank you.
It's the right thing to do. If someone's a few steps behind you, hold the door until they get there (unless you're really in a rush, you know there's exceptions to every rule) and if someone holds the door for you say thank you! Or even just give them a thank you smile. Be kind to everyone because you never know what someone else may be going through. They could be smiling on the outside and be miserable on the inside. Your "please" or "thank you" or even a simple compliment may make their day. You just honestly never know. Karma is always working. Eventually what you do will come back to you. Good or bad. Wouldn't you rather it be good?
