A Corrupt World
It is extremely heartbreaking to read the news and to read about deaths, murders, criminals, corrupt leaders and so many more negative updates. This implies that we live in a world where violence, greed and loss are an everyday part of life. How can we even call the way we are living "life" if these things dominate our way of living?
Our society has become so accustomed to the unfortunate events that when we read the newspaper, or watch the news channel, we don't even flinch. Instead, we just say, "Again"? In my opinion, that is the saddest part. We are used to the bad and lack the good. What can we expect for future generations? Would the violence only increase?
We haven't learned our lesson from the world wars, the crimes, the penalties, from history in general. We only use history to create our future. Instead of striving for the better, we continue doing the worse. Changing the world is what we need to start doing, a change for the better.
