Blade of a Polaroid
Watching the crystal raindrops follow the curving path to their own adventure.
Stalking the twisting fence through the moss filled cracks on the wall.
On the brick walls of the home I used to know.
Seeking the crystal raindrops through the holes in my neck.
Capturing the lonely scent through the blade of a polaroid.
After the wrinkled patches from the cold hills, clawed through, that I once knew.
Lurking through the weeds, discovering that some apples fall far from the tree.
Far from what they once wanted to be…
Far from what everyone could ever see.
