What Can Be Done About School Shootings?
Sure you can protest about gun laws or this or that. Sure you can walk out of school in fourth period. Sure you can judge others. Sure you can point fingers or blame Trump. But do you want to know what you do? More or less guns is NOT the answer. The answers is YOU! You want suicide rates to decline? Have more compassion. Do you gang violence to plummet? Have more empathy. And the shootings. The school shootings. You want no more?! Reach out to those who are hurt and mean. Sit with that odd person that all the gossip is about on social media and are sitting alone. Be a better person in the dark world. And the world will be a better place. If we do our best to do the simple things in life. Then we’re the best prevention there is. And who knows? You could save your life and the lives of 20 more people.
