Three Broken Promises
Summary:
Magneto, notorious mutant freedom fighter, swore he would create a world where mutantkind lived with their gifts freely. To create that world, he would do anything. Destroy anything. Save anyone.
He failed.
He lost his family over and over again from hatred, and he is done losing. When Lorna Dane is born, he once again vows to finally create a world where his child could be safe.
He failed.
For all of his triumphs, his legacy will forever be marked by failure: failure to stop 7/15, failure to save mutantkind, failure to save the Frost sisters, and failure to quiet anti-mutant hatred.
The failure of three particular promises defines his life after the birth of his daughter.
