Summary:

Ashley is excited for the voyage to the "New Land." She is accompanied by her mother and twin brother, but is set aside as an outcast; defying the rules of the Church, and bluntly stating she doesn't believe in a God. To make matters worse, Ashley thinks she's fallen for the one guy she'll never have. The pastors son.

I don't mean to sound harsh but I don't think you did enough research about the time period. I think if you did more research and are able to represent the time period better it could be a really good book.
