Summary:

This short story is about a girl named Madison and how her life changes during a short period of time. She lives with her dad, and finds out that he will get married with his girlfriend soon. Veronica which is the name of her dads girlfriend moves in with her son that is the same age as Madison. Jacob which is the son starts flirting with Madison and one day he kisses her, he keeps on doing the same thing but she's to blind to see anything since she's fallen for his charm. Madison then realizes that Jacob isn't worth it and that this would never work out. By the end she knows that she deserves someone better that won't hurt her.
