After the End
Summary:
Hillevi Winterfast, a Northern soldier, wakes up in her very own hell. The South is an endless desert that lies just beyond the mountains - no night, no water, no real humans to be seen. Those very mountains normally protect her people from the Heathens that live south of them, until she and her unit are kidnapped. Held captive and tortured for weeks, she finally escapes with the help of a stranger.
She struggles to make it back home, only to find her people divided and in turmoil. Something has gone horribly, horribly wrong. The Northerners are being ripped apart, both physically and mentally, while Hillevi and her teammates try to piece things back together. Heathens, the ultimate boogymen, have been given a weapon powerful enough to turn the Northern armies against themselves. Humans, the new cockroach of Earth, may have finally met it's end- seventy years too late.
Blood, war, and broken bonds- will anything survive what's coming?
