When I was 5
When I was five years old, my mom took me to the store to get some candy. Now, everyone knows that whenever you go to the store and you’re young, you always want candy. Well, it was my birthday and I wanted something to eat. My mom told me to wait. I didn’t like waiting because, one, I was spoiled and two, it was my birthday, my day! So after she said that I sat on the floor and would not move at all. She told me to get up because I was “embarrassing” her. I didn’t really care so I told her I would get up when I got what I wanted. Well, there were two things that happened that day. First, my mom dragged me out of the store and into the parking lot. Second, I didn’t have a party and I had to spend my birthday all by myself. Of course after that, the next day I had a party all to myself with all my friends and family. It was a blast because I got many presents. But just to remember- never think the world revolves around you just because it’s your birthday.
