Mad World
This is a mad world. It really is. People are just running around in circles of despair. Dodging their insecurities. Or some may dive right into them. And why not? What kind of person do you become, when you can't even be honest with your self. It's a sad thing, because we're all we've got. I don't mean we as in me and you, I mean me. Just me. Just you. Not us. Let's face it, we can try to explain to other people what we see, and what we hear, and what we think. But is ever the same as it is in your own mind? Do they hear your every thought, know your every notion? We are all our own best friend. The closest thing we will ever find to really understanding someone is love. And I have not even begun to think what that feels like. Is it something that we know? Do we feel it? Do you love me? How would I know. I'm not in your head. So that's why we can't lie to ourselves. It's a stupid thing to do. And it will only create a messy person. A messy mind. A lost soul. This world is a lonely f***ing place, and it's gonna be that way, no matter how you look at it. So just accept it. And move on. And maybe, just maybe. You'll forget.
