If you find $100 on the ground do you keep it or turn it in? My first reaction would be to take it. While having the money in my hands, I will think of what I can buy with it. Most boys like me would buy electronics such as: video games, downloads, and songs. Also boys could spend the money on clothes like sports jerseys, famous brands of shoes, and sports hats. As well as clothes and electronics, boys could spend the money on tickets to events. Some events boys could buy tickets for are: baseball, hockey, football, basketball, and band concerts.

After thinking about taking the money, I would start thinking about what people would say if they saw it. If I used the money to buy all the items I said above then the cashier would be suspicious of where I got the money to afford the items I purchased. If I use the money to buy lunch at school the school faculty might ask me where I got it. They might force me to return it. Most kids have smaller bills on hand not big ones.

Based on my two scenarios, I would probably take it before someone else does or a strong gust of wind comes whooshing by. I would keep quiet about finding it and I might hide it. Finders, keepers - losers, weepers.

I really enjoyed reading "Finders Keepers, Losers Weepers!" The ideas were clearly presented, and many realistic examples were provided. I felt involved in the topic and wondered what I would do if I found a substantial amount of money.
