School Lunch Choices
Dear TeenInk,
We students want to go home and eat lunch; lunch that we actually like. We even daydream about going home to eat lunch. One benefit to this is that you can eat whatever you want and instead of 30 minutes for lunch we could get an hour and 30 minutes to eat lunch and chill before we go back to school. Just imagine you going home for lunch and you walk in the door and smell that sweet smell of your favorite food that you mom or dad has made for you. If you can imagine anything it can come true. Most students don’t eat breakfast and they don’t have enough fuel to last until lunch, but when you do go home you can eat bigger and better. Bigger and better means more fuel to last you through the rest of the day and not bugging about “ when is lunch, when are we going to eat, i’m starving” no more of that because you’ll be looking forward to the amazing food you're going to eat when you go home.
One problem we could face is time, we only get 30 minutes to eat lunch but a solution to that problem is starting earlier at seven thirty and ending at 4:00. That means we start an hour earlier and 30 minutes for lunch so then we get an hour and 30 minutes. Another problem we could face is how we would get home, but we could carpool with other people who live close to us or walk home we could even go home with a friend to eat lunch if you live too far. Also if students are late back to school to many times or three days out of the five they lose their privilege to go home and eat until they can prove they won't be late.
Sincerly,
Fernanda
