Suits (TV Show) Review
Many people were telling me to watch Suits—from my parents to my brothers to my neighbors and my friends. And I would always say no. I never had any interest in a TV show about lawyers. Both My parents are lawyers; I've gone to their work with both of them but it just seems so boring. But Eventually I decided to watch it, and it was anything but boring.
The show is about two lawyers, Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams). Gabriel Macht plays Harvey Specter ,the best lawyer in the world who has never lost a case. Patrick J. Adams Plays Mike Ross who is a fraudulent lawyer and Harvey’s Associate.
In the very first episode of Suits it shows Harvey closing a deal to help a client and Mike taking the LSAT for someone else.. Later in that same episode Mike needed some money so his friend gave him a briefcase of weed to sell. The sale was then busted and Mike was on the run. He ends up at (law firm name) just in time to interview for Harvey’s new associate position when someone doesn't show up. But once he got his briefcase opened, the weed was everywhere. Harvey then knew he wasn't a lawyer, but Mike was able to convince him to hire him with his cunning wit. Many more crazy things happen each episode.
Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams were born to play these roles. Gabriel Macht plays a big time lawyer and looks the part. From the slicked back hair to his arrogance and the fact that he doesn't lose. Patrick J. Adams has the mind of a genius, but doesnt fit the look of a lawyer, looking way too young, but still very cocky. So he is ideal for the fraudulent lawyer.
After watching just the first season I would recommend the whole series. It is action packed, leaves you on the edge of your seat, and just makes you want to keep on watching.
