I thought it would be like the books—that perfect teenage dream. You lock eyes across the classroom and realize he is the perfect guy. Well, that's never happened. You look at a guy and he looks back but is he looking at you or the girl next to you? When you try and find that one guy but it turns out he wasn't serious about anything. Everyone talks about how previous generations were different. But how? Does suddenly no one take things like that seriously? Haven't these things always happened? You just notice it more when it happens to you...

I feel like everyone goes through something similar at some point, it's a very relatable situation.
