Old Enough to Love
I've heard a variety of times, "you're too young to know what love is." So, if I'm too young to know what love is; what is this that I feel? That feeling of emptiness and loneliness when he's not here. The feeling of perfection when he's near. Let's not even talk about me, let's talk about younger people. What about my baby sisters, one is only 2 and one 8 months old; and when my parents come home they run to embrace them. What is that, that they feel? Is it not love? What about those who are young and loose someone? When they cry, isn't it because they lost a love one; isn't that inside of them pain because they loved them? If all of these are not love, what is? How old do you have to be to know love? Is it like a special thing they teach in school? At work? If what I feel inside for God, my family and friends ; does not define love... What does?
