Often, when I used to listen to kpop groups or read books, everyone called me weird. People all around me listening to our native folk songs and watching ridiculous serials while I'm at home listening to kpop or playing the violin.

Why was doing this considered weird? Just because I had different opinions about things or liked a different genre of music. My classmates wouldn't talk to me because of this at first.

Sometimes,  when this happens, you feel the need to tell people that you're not wierd. "I'm not weird, I just happen to like something different." Now while this is the correct thing to do and you're absolutely correct, some people will just not listen.

During times like these, I feel like just embracing the fact that people will not change and it's just better for them to think that you are weird. Because being weird is being unique. It is being completely different and unusual. And most importantly, it is amazing.
