What's Wrong With Hats?
I’ve always wondered this, why are you not allowed to wear a hat in school? If you were a hat, like seven out of ten times you’ll be told to take your hat off, but when you ask why, no one gives you an answer, and when you say stuff like, “Since you won’t give me an actual answer, I’ll just put my hat back on.” You get in trouble, if I’m going to get in trouble, let it be for something that someone can give me a reason why it is not allowed, like stealing. Most teachers do this, but some do understand that it’s a stupid rule that doesn’t really have a reason except that wearing a hat can mean you’re in a gang… like are you serious?! If someone was in a gang, they’d probably use something more discreet than a hat… who knows, but if it’s a plain gray beanie, with no logos or art on it, then you’re fine because no group goes plain, every group usually has a logo and doesn’t use bland colors. I always wear my beanie, and only two out of my eight teachers tell me to remove it, and trust me on this, they barely do it. Also, one teacher that does tell me to take it off has the audacity to say, “I tell you every single day to take your hat off, and you always come back to class with it on.” I was really annoyed about that, not because she told me to take off my beanie, but because she literally just lied in front of everyone… she will tell EVERYONE ELSE to take off their hat, and most of the time she doesn’t tell me to take mine off, she has only told me to take it off a total of three times, out of the about fifty times she has told other people to take their hat off.

What inspired me to write this piece? Well, I was just tired of being told to take my hat off and not be given a reason as to why I should, and I can't yell at the teachers/security in my school because I'll get in trouble and I don't need that. I just want people to know how I feel about this rule, that's pretty much it... plus this is my first post to this site.
