The government should not take away our weapons we have the second amendment in the constitution that says “A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” Liberals believe we should ban assault rifles. The government believes they own our rights and that they can change it whenever they want to. I am writing this essay to show them how wrong they are. I believe that individuals should have control over guns because if we aren’t responsible with our things then the government will not allow the citizens to have magz with a capacity of 10 bullets, criminals criminals would find a way to get assault rifles like in the black market, finally, if the government takes away our guns there would be more home invasions


If we let the government take control of our weapons, then they will limit our magazines will be limited to 10 bullets a cartridge. Whenever we go hunting for example with a 22caleber we won’t be able to kill a deer. We would have to re-load, in the time it takes to re-load the deer would run away wounded by like the 4th shot the second amendment in the constitution states that we the people have the right to keep and bear arms. This shows how our founding fathers decided that we should be able to keep our weapons. The same men who gave us the freedom of speech gave us the right to keep our weapons.

Who will protect us from the black market? The government can’t control that just like they can’t control the drug market. There are already hazardous drugs crossing the border and being sold. If the government can't stop the drugs how will they stop weapons from being sold? Criminals will get their hands on these guns no matter what. How will we protect ourselves? Home invasions will occur these massive weapons will come. How will we match up with these massive guns?

If the government takes over there will be more house invasions. There would be more robberies and we can’t defend ourselves from the robbers. We won’t be able to match up with their guns. If the government takes over there would only be mags with a capacity of 10 bullets.
