Rescue
I took this picture when I attended the Invisible Children event, "The Rescue". People who attended the event camped out at the fair grounds until someone of a high standing that people would listen to... someone famous... came and "rescued" us. The point of the event was to raise awarness about the abduction of child soliders in nothern Uganda. They are known to us, as "Invisible Children".
Once the band Paramore came and rescued us pretty late at night, while some went home, others decided to stay the night, and sleep on the fair grounds to really make a point. Me being one of them, the night was difficult to sleep, but nothing like a REAL child soldiers rest. If you want to know more information about this cause, go to Invisiblechildren.com.
