Love of a Fool

He’s a fool when he’s drunk,
but a prince when he’s sober;
sweet as can be,
but no four leaf clover.
He gets into trouble
but he has my heart,
or at least for the moment,
and still when we part.
Until I get my sense back
I’ll walk in a daze,
thinking of him constantly,
lost in his gaze.
