Dawn to Dusk

Light
so bright
birthed from our
mother, morning sun
fills the still bedroom
with life and energy
she stays in the light blue sky
and hangs over top the garden
but she soon starts to sink down the hills
causing father moon to wake up and grin
Tonight he cradles his daughters, the stars
and watches them dance in the still sky
he stays in the same spot all night
and glows over the back yard
In the navy-blue sky
Filled with peacefulness
And pure silence
It keeps it
until
dawn
