March 28th
Saturday morning, being lazy
Staying in bed and sleeping late
I wake up that Saturday morning
And I know that I have changed.

 The rain is pounding
 On my window pane
Bringing forth the sound of life
 A familiar quote comes down
 Memory lane…
 “…ice would surely suffice…”

But then you look outside and
 The grass is green…
 That familiar quote changes dramatically
 Turns into:
 “To live a happy life,
  nothing would be ice,
 because you would never
 die twice…”

 On March 28th
 If you’re feeling lonely…
 Come and visit me; my
 Lazy Saturday
If I put it to you rather
 Blatantly…
 You’ll know you haven’t changed!
