They told me that the moon
Was to far out of reach
But I've ignored these lies
They've continued to preach

Countless times they said
To tame my imagination
However, I am hardly satisfied
To have the stars my limitation

I will dream of the unheard
Of things far beyond the stars
For not a human on this earth
Can say what my boundaries are

Yet I won't reach for the moon
For as you can clearly see
The moon is really the one
Who is reaching for me

Favorite Quote:
The thing about a story is that you dream it as you tell it, hoping that others might dream along with you, and in this way memory, imagination, and language combine to make spirits in the head.

Beautiful, thought-provoking, and inspiring.
