No Cure
Cracks run up and down my heart,
I know not how or where they start.
A cut scars my bleeding mind,
but where theres one, more I find.
Tears fall from reddened eyes,
caused by many endless lies.
No bandages can stop the flow
of ragged feet down below.
And here flows the sands of time
caused by only a single crime
Screaming, crying, filled with despair
but they tell me, "You are beyond repair."
"Let me out," I cry, from the prison within my mind
"We can't" they say, "There's no cure for your kind."
And then they go, leave me to die.
I lean against the wall and sigh.
There's no hope, they don't really care
"Because," I tell myself, "I'm beyond repair."
