Digital Desires
Every man hears of those digital desires
The vixens that prowl the night quenching man’s internal fires
But I have found a simple girl that fixes me a smile
I understand, I need more time, I’m falling for her guile
What do I say as everyday I wait with bated breath?
I wish to talk to see to hear to love her soul to death
But alas I find that she has no time, no time to spend on me
I am but one of many men who’s company is free
To stroke her face, to taste her lips would be like a feral dream
Her spirit mine we would be intertwined in the events of life’s grand scheme
But to lie beside a goddess you must pay a certain price
The certainty of my mortal soul would no longer be concise
Inhibitions thrown to the wind reveals a single truth
To this girl whom I do not know I would give her all my youth
