Can I kiss you?
I promise it won’t mean a thing.
If I kiss you
its just something to numb this sting.
If I kiss you
I’ll walk away,
pretend it never happened,
I only knew you for a day.
If I kiss you,
its just so I can feel that rush.
That wonderful moment
that use to mean so much.
If I kiss you
it wouldn’t last.
I’d only be using you
and “we” would end fast.
If I kiss you
it’d be to replace someone else.
If I kiss you
I’d be fooling myself.
If I kiss you
I wont have
a single feeling
So can I kiss you?
I promise it won’t
mean a thing.
