Life.
Freaks.
Sex, drugs, rock ‘n’ roll,
Good music,
Bad food,
French Fries that aren’t French
Pizza and grapes,
Wine,
Port,
Vodka.
Milk and honey
And a few acres of land
A little house
With a big bed.
42 cent stamps.
The TV doesn’t work anymore
So there’s
White noise,
Static and
Boredom,
Burning books,
And ashes of love letters.
Dandelion greens and
Chilies
And beans and bread.
Scented shampoo and dull razors
Rubber bands
Cell phones
Pastrami and mayonnaise sandwiches
Or lettuce
Salad dressing
Dull eyeliner pencils
Mascara
And scars.
Tight jeans and
Loose t-shirts
Headaches
Obedience
Piercings and crumbs
And a digital watch reading
6:66

This was written about my life, and it's called 'yearly' because it happens yearly.
