Where my face used to be
Embedded in the patchwork quilt
Of your memories
Who will I be?
If we ever come to meet
Palm pressed to palm
Paradox of slender fingers
Even though
We resided in
Separate wombs
Could you understand?
Fear of resentment
Thick like cement
Forever a stranger
Love for you
Still inside myself
Never to leave
Even if I remain forever unseen
