"The heart has its reasons which reason does not know." -Pascal, Pensees, 1670

Blank.
Like the crashing of ocean waves.
Blank.
Like the roar of my pounding heart.
For you,
I’m blank.
My body knows only its ache
For you.

My mind
Like the fizzing bubbles of pop.
Numb, yet racing,
Blocking out life
That does not revolve around you.
Folding laundry,
It’s yours.
The dishes in the sink are ours.

I beg,
For you,
As I gravely miss
My other part.
I weep inside
That you are third person
In my abode
Until the sunrise follows.

Bed
Is my reprieve,
As dreams evade my conscious,
Yearning to be graced by your presence
As I love
The smile you give my face
That flashes my teeth
And sparkles meet my eyes.

Love it! You convey how you feel when you are in love amazingly, even the form of the poem conveys love. GREAT!
