After the Sun
As the sun sets for the day,
The world’s colors fade to gray;
Fair hands reach out and lift the veil—
Like the stars, their eyes shine pale.
With the setting of the sun,
The midnight hounds are let to run,
While the moon glides overhead,
And blood stains the water red.
Thirteen stars shine in the sky,
Thirteen black crows spread wings and fly,
Thirteen lost souls begin to scream,
Trapped within this endless dream.
