Dare Me

Sing me a song I haven't heard before
Tell me a story that could mean more
I want you to prove to me
That this could be real
Make me understand
These feelings I feel.
Put a light on my heart
Put a hand to my tears
Put a kiss on my soul
Dare me to fall.
Don't stand there and wait
I'm not just a pretty face
Give me a promise,
One I can taste.
But I'll never believe you
These words can't be true
My fear has taken over
All other feelings I knew.
I wish I could love you
But I'm jsut too afraid
My mind has betrayed me
Yet I still can't look away.
