My Haven
Do I really want to let go
Of the looming clouds of my weakness
Should I turn away from it and grow
Or is it best to embrace the bleakness
Here in the lonely shade, so thick
I wrote strongholds of my thoughts
Building these walls, brick by brick
Walls not so easily lost
My kingdom rose, towers tall
Stone dark and black as the night
This castle, a refuge, despite its flaws
For I built this ebony sight
Must I let it crumble
Should I abandon my creation
Would I then flourish, or fall and stumble
Not ready to leave my haven
