I will be your shadow
And I will follow you behind
And I won’t let you leave my mind
Because you
Have caught my attention
When the gray turns into day
I’ll wait there willingly
To find you
And stay there
I hope that maybe this time
That shadow can come to life
To become
Something more
Oh, but look at it again
Your life just lost a friend
When you walked away
Without your shadow
