Smoky Hues
“I dreamed a dream,
 A silent dream
Of a land not far away.”

 But when I awoke,
 My dream was gone
In a cloud of colored droplets.

 Each image was smoky,
 The colors mere hues
Until all was shapeless and soft.

 I reached out to touch,
 Grasping just as much
As a hand swept through smoke.
